Hi Friend,
I know you
want your free gift straight away. But allow me to rant a little bit
for 2007...
A lot of
things have changed in 2007 but they are all the same. Well, try to
understand me if you can, though there will be some grammatical errors
here because they are my rants.
If you can
remember, there was once a big 'story' that Adsense income will not
be profitable anymore in 2006. And then, there are marketers who
debated
and insisted that it's still going to be profitable. For me, I don't
really care
whether it is or not because I'm still making money from Adsense, regardless
of what others are saying. There were ups and downs but it really
doesn't matter.
How about the
technologies to get rank in search engines called, 'social bookmaking' and 'tag and ping'? To be
bluntly honest with you, I have never apply any of these concepts to my
business at all. Yes, I'm guilty of not reading and using them at
all. These technologies have
been proven by many marketers to be powerful.
What I'm
trying to express is, there will be all kind of buzzes happening. And now you'll probably heard
the next buzz of Web 2.0. You have no clue what it is? Are you
starting to get panic?
It'll be
something important in 2007 but you will not die if you are left out of it.
If you're currently making money, FOCUS on that. You can keep
yourself up to date with the latest buzz and if you have the extra
time, then consider looking deeper on how you can apply them to your
online business. That's my two cents thought.
I mean, have
you mastered the 'old' strategies that have been proven to be
money-makers yet?
Are you
using Google Adwords and getting the best result now?
If you said
yes, I rest my case. But seriously, THIS IS the method that is
working. Even the US Marine is using it! How do I know? Because I do
research to see how profitable it can get and use them if they are
for my online niche businesses. I don't teach things based on theories
or start promoting the latest buzz products.

Here are
five things you should be aware of in 2007 to capitalize as much
profit as you can:
1. Focus on
your brand
The internet
market is huge. But YOUR market is actually very small. In general,
all niche markets on the internet are very competitive. If you're in
the internet marketing niche, this goes without saying. New
marketers are popping out like mushrooms with amazing products to be
offered and they'll win the game. Serious, no kidding. Most of the
'old' marketers are diversifying their income by building more
online niche businesses and for the luckier ones, they'll be engaged
to be speakers. You'll need to brand yourself in your market because
it will be the same JV partners, forums, search engine rankings, etc
that your competitors will go after.
What's
unique about you?
In another word, if your product is going to teach
someone how to be highly motivated, why would they buy from you when
there are already 101 good motivational books out there? Go figure and you'll
rich.
2. Marketers
are claiming ownership of techniques and methods
Have you
heard the quote, "The early bird will get the worms."?
Internet
marketing terms like 'squeeze page', 'mini-sites', 'one-time offer',
etc are being claimed by marketers officially. A squeeze page is an opt-in page.
Mini-sites are online direct-response salesletters. One time offer is a
back-end selling mechanism with a unique twist of appearing
once for the prospects to buy. I think it's very clever.
I've been using
back-end selling whenever I'm selling a product online for years
already. It could be a direct upsell of product promotion or
recommendation. But recently, one of my customers email to me saying that
all websites are using the similar method without creativity and I'm
just another copycat. No, I wasn't pissed or anything. The fact is,
I did not 'claim' the name for that method.
So if you
have a new internet marketing technique or discover how to innovate
an old one, claim ownership to it. Put your name on it. Then, it's
'yours' and the rest of people who use it are 'followers'.
3. People
Are Getting Sick And Tired
I don't
think another fancy salesletter with tons of testimonials will be
able to convince your prospects to buy. They are getting sick and tired
with hypes after hypes. Focus on the results what you can do for
your prospect. If you have a course teaching people how to get 100
free backlinks in a month on auto-pilot and it has been proven to
increase your search engine ranking legally, it'll sell
automatically (I'm referring to selling by your own, not through JV
partners). I've seen internet marketing gurus coming out with
their new courses -- Sells like crazy because of their name. But
it'll remain a question whether these methods are theories or they
are real techniques being used "in-house".
4. It's not
about multiple internet income streams
I know you have
heard about creating multiple internet income streams online. There
are a lot of misconceptions when the fundamentals are not clearly
defined. Many people do it wrong by creating multiple internet
income streams in DIFFERENT niches. Focus on one and dominate it.
You can still have multiple income streams from one niche via
Adsense, eBay, affiliate program, selling your own info-products,
etc. The advantage is, you have a strong leverage when you're
competing with others by having multiple income streams in ONE
NICHE.
5. Search Engine Traffic
You should
never neglect the traffic from search engines like Google.com and
Yahoo.com. Why you should consider traffic from there is because of
two reasons; it's free and it'll always work no matter what kind of
changes happen on the internet. Search engines will always be the
place for people to search for information that they want. You see,
you will be worried of the search engines algorithm changes if
you're trying to outsmart the search engine's ranking system but if
you're following the guidelines, you're safe.
